Nihonbashi Special Feature

The Nihonbashi area was one of the most illustrated landmarks in the Edo era, where top craftsmen and enterprising merchants lived, worked and played, there was never a dull moment against the backdrop of the original Nihonbashi bridge – then a wooden bridge called Edobashi. Today, the district retains a class and dignity upheld by a community of classic shops that remain where they started generations ago, their history counted by the centuries.
