Hi there!

I’m Emiko and I’m currently a college senior living in Tokyo.

This is my first blog ever and I’m super excited while at the same time, I’m not very confident about whether I’m going to be able to entertain anyone with what I write and I really don’t know where to start…

Well, I guess an introduction to this blog will do for today!

With this blog, I hope to be able to introduce to the world (and for those who are already in Japan!) the fun, the interesting, the cool, the beautiful, the yummy…the “attractive” things of Tokyo, the place I call home; the city I LOVE. I will probably talk about other parts of the country too! I’ll try and cover all kinds of genres (food, music, art, fashion, history, politics, etc.) for all kinds of people who may be reading this and hopefully, more people will be interested in visiting Japan.

I’ve spent most of my life so far in Tokyo and I feel I often overlook things in Japan that may seem unbelievable/odd/fabulous from other cultures. I hope, that by writing this blog, I can rediscover the excitement of this city and come across new interesting things to show you!

I heard they’re having a Disney-themed event there until 25 December, so if you’re a fan of Disney, you should go check it out!

I love Tokyo, especially at night. The new broadcasting tower TOKYO SKYTREE will be opening on 22 May, but we mustn’t forget about the lovely Tokyo Tower…isn’t it beautiful?
