The ultimate in superior luxury,
The “THREE HUNDRED CLUB” series
While the mission at Maker’s Shirt Kamakura is to provide top quality shirts at a ordable prices of 4900 yen, this is not permitted to compromise in any way on the quality of the material they select for their shirts.

Made with the highest quality cotton thread

In this article, we’ll present their superior luxury range, named the “THREE HUNDRED CLUB”. e number “300” refers proudly to the exceptional material, cotton thread with an ultra- ne 300 cotton counts.

It’s safe to say that many fine shirts are made with cotton fabric with a 2-ply 80 cotton yarn count. Other higher quality garments may benefit from a finer 100 to 120 cotton yarn count. However, thread as fine as 300 cotton count is almost unprecedented in shirt manufacture, with a very few top brand offering very limited runs of these special garments at quite considerable price tags.

To twine thread this fine requires cotton that has extra long fibers and extremely experienced spinners. Xinjiang cotton is ideal for this as its fiber has an astonishing 3.8 to 4.0 cm average length. e resulting textile is so fine that it possesses a sheen almost as lustrous as silk.

A shirt made with 300 cotton yarn count fabric represents extreme luxury and rarity. Maker’s Mark Kamakura had to order special spinning machines to produce such a fine thread.
The sheen as lustrous as silk, the buttons sparkle like pearls

Bringing the precisely cut pieces of this sumptuous cloth together to create the finished shirt is entrusted to the most experienced Japanese seamsters. Sewing such fine fabrics requires a craftsman’s touch, and this work is achieved using traditional single needle seams. is is truly astonishing work, as you can see from the perfectly placed stitches and the elegant finish displayed in these images.

To add a lavish finishing touch to their handiwork, they apply shell buttons hand-carved out of pearl oysters.

Incredibly, these shirts of incomparable luxury are available from Maker’s Mark Kamakura for just 15,000 yen. e reassuring feeling of slipping your arm into the sleeve of such an exquisite shirt, the pride in owning such a benchmark piece, cannot be understated. We urge you to visit one of their twenty-one retail shops and experience this unrivalled luxury for yourself.

The cotton fiber used for this series is Xinjiang cotton, grown with abundant water from the Tianshan Mountains. It is renowned for its superior length and quality. As this image demonstrates, its length is nearly double that of ordinary cotton, allowing it be spun into superfine thread.

A wide range of collar opt ions is available: CLOCKWISE FROM TOP RIGHT regular , button down, wide, and semi-wide. There are two variations of fit available: Slim Fit and British Fit (wider).

Meticulous attention to detail, high quality fabric with fastidious Japanese sewing technique are the trademark of this brand.

There are a few hundred mills in the world that produce fabric for ties, but only 5 of them are regarded as top-class. Maker’s Shirt Kamakura even narrows down this 5 to just 3 where they are prepared to source the finest quality fabric. Choosing from across the collections will allow you to savor the subtle differences between the fabrics produced in different countries.
