Trip to Yonaguni-jima Island-Episode 3

The final episode of my trip to Yonaguni is all about seafood cuisine, especially the Marlins. The fishery of Marlins is only one hour away from Yonaguni. As I passed by the fishing port in the morning, the fishermen were already unloading the Marlins.

I ate at two Izakayas in my nights at Yonaguni. Both are near Kubura fishing port and feature Marlins cuisine.

Sashimi of Marlins (500 yen)

Deep fried Marlins with bones (450 yen)

Sausage and egg rolls (400 yen)

The second izakaya I visited is called Isunn (海響).

Internal organs of Marlins, dipped in vinegar (500 yen)

Marlins sauté with butter (500 yen)

Marlins Donburi (500 yen)

Information

Both are located within 50 meters from the only traffic light near Kubura fishing port.
