Tono Furusato Village

Tono Furusato Village was built to preserve symbols of Tono’s culture, its special style of houses, the Nambu Magariya, and techniques developed from everyday life since the end of the Edo period. Visitors can enjoy the charms of the four seasons through various seasonal events in addition to experiences of farming activities. Tono Furusato Village has its guides who are called Maburitto, who play important roles to protect traditions and culture.
