Takanosaki
At the tip of the main island in Japan, Takanosaki is the spot to see weird shaped rocks and beautiful scenery. On a nice sunny day, you can see Cape Tappi, Shimokita Peninsula, and even Hokkaido. Beautiful sunset is a no miss as well. The lighthouse painted in red and white is Takanosaki lighthouse. Going down the stairs of the lighthouse, you will find two bridges whose name is Shiosai Bridge and Akebono Bridge. After crossing the bridge, you will find yourself on the rocks where you can fish or play in the water. Horoduki Beach Horoduki Beach is a part of Tsugaru National Park. It offers fantastic scenery and vivid blue ocean. In the summer, people come to the beach for swimming and fishing. At night, boats that are fetching squids light up the dark ocean romantically. Address: Horoduki Area Imabetsu-cho, Aomori Takanosaki Camping Ground Takanosaki Camping Ground hosts about 100 tent sites. Coin showers are available for visitors to use. The camping ground is only about 400 meters away from the Takanosaki lighthouse. Many visitors stay at this camping ground to enjoy sightseeing in the area.
