Ohsumi’s shabu shabu is given a unique twist by specialising in pork, which is full of vitamin B and relatively low calorie, rather than beef. Delicately sliced paper-thin pork loin, belly or shoulder are cooked in a konbu(seaweed)-based clear broth, then dipped in either a sesame-peanut sauce or a house blended ponzu (soy and vinegar) sauce. Apart from their 10th anniversary promotions, they have a reasonable Nomi Tabe Houdai package of unlimited drinks and Shabu Shabu. Parties can be held in their private 36-person rooms, where Japanese side dishes and premium sakes and shouchus can be had. For lunch, you can enjoy non-fatty Pork Don (pork rice bowl) or a Set Lunch starting from S$9.50.
Located at Cuppage Plaza, which is called "Little Tokyo" because of many Japanese restaurant and bars in this building.
