Tokai

The Tokai region, consisting of Aichi, Mie, Gifu and Shizuoka, is located at the center of Japan. It has been the traffic hub between East and West Japan; accordingly, a mixed culture of both East and West can be found in this region. The region can be accessed easily by airplanes through Central Japan International Airport, or by JR bullet trains. A variety of hot springs such as Ito, Atami, Okuhida, and Gero offer many choices for the tourists. The atmosphere of castle towns in Tokai, Nagoya, Inuyama and Takayama remains vividly.
